DEEP C® CFE

The patented Deep C Controlled Flow Excavator (CFE) is a unique mass flow excavation system providing stable trenches and precisely controlled trench profiles at very high excavation rates. 

Through unique technology and proven methodology, the CFE provides visibility during excavation and is easily deployed and operated subsea with no required holdbacks, guide wires or any other aid for stabilizing the tool.  

With integrated heading control, sonar, cameras, and lights, the CFE can operate independent of vessel heading. 

Combined with world leading & in-depth PhD level knowledge of sediment dynamics, jetting & dredging technology, Deep C offers an unmatched combination of efficiency, predictability and precision. 

The system requires minimum deck space and is also capable of burying exposed infrastructure to avoid damage from anchors and other unforeseen events.
